Arsenal Will Release Three Players

Arsenal will surely get rid of the three pillars in the transfer market come early july. Another player was Andrey Arshavin, Denilson and Sebastien Squillaci, whose contract ends right at the end of this June.


"Andrey Arshavin, Denilson and Sebastien Squillaci will leave the club when their contracts expire on June 30, 2013. Parties clubs like to use this chance to thank them for their contribution and need the best for him or her," an official statement said Arsenal.

Arshavin joined Arsenal from Zenit St Petersburg having a tag of 15 million pounds inside the transfer market in January 2009. During his career at Arsenal, he performed as much as 144 times that has a record of 31 goals, including the moment when Arsenal scored four goals within a 4-4 draw against Liverpool in April 2009.

However, since last season, Arshavin had limited success penetrating the initial team and only appeared 11 times.

Denilson joins Sao Paulo in 2006 and defended the Gunners 153 times as part of his first several years. However, in the last two seasons, he spent his career on loan at his old club. While purchased Squillaci from Sevilla truly and became a consistent starter in his first season. However, during the last two seasons, Squillaci played only seven times for Arsenal.
