Lee Novak and Olly Lee are pushing for recalls as Birmingham play host to Huddersfield. Striker Novak, who swapped the Terriers for Blues last summer, and midfielder Lee were dropped towards the bench for Tuesday's narrow 1-0 defeat at Watford in preference of Albert Rusnak and Brian Howard.

Fit-again left-back Mitch Hancox wouldn't make matchday 18 at Vicarage Road having overcome an ankle injury and is again pushing for involvement.

Jonathan Spector is closing in on his return but mafia wars comes early, while fellow long-term absentees Tom Thorpe (ankle), David Murphy, Matt Green and Neal Eardley (all knee) are unavailable.

Huddersfield will probably be without leading goalscorer James Vaughan as they come up against former boss Lee Clark.

Vaughan, only recently back from a knee injury, limped out of your midweek home defeat to Nottingham Forest because of calf strain, so Danny Ward and Martin Paterson are vying for any recall alongside Nahki Wells.

Manager Mark Robins doesn't have new injury or suspension worries as his side chase their first league win while travelling since early December. Town choosing a lump sum five of these last six matches.

Skipper Peter Clarke is hopeful of making his launching since November having returned to the bench in recent weeks following a knee injury.
