Thomas Ince has returned from suspension to bolster Blackpool's options when Reading visit Bloomfield Road. The winger, who's also been carrying a groin strain and removed with the England Under-21 squad a couple weeks ago, has served a couple-game ban that was given out with the FA following a derby defeat to Preston.

His return gives the Tangerines more attacking options given Michael Chopra, Nathan Delfouneso, new signing Ricardo Fuller and Bobby Grant are all lacking match fitness. Manager Paul Ince also has concerns over midfielder Barry Ferguson and defender Craig Cathcart while winger Matt Phillips is out again because of a broken arm.

Kaspars Gorkss should return to the Reading squad. The knowledgeable centre-half was rested for last weekend's 3-3 draw against Watford playing for Latvia several days earlier.

Winger Jimmy Kebe remains doubtful which has a groin problem, midfielder Mikele Leigertwood is still out recovering from ankle surgery and striker Jason Roberts remains sidelined by the hip problem. But boss Nigel Adkins does not have any new injury worries, although he could rotate his squad while using likes of Hal Robson-Kanu and Pavel Pogrebnyak pushing for recalls.
