Bolton Wanderers vs Queens Park Rangers Match Preview August 24, 2013

Posted by Unknown on Saturday, August 24, 2013

Bolton will again assess Chris Eagles and David Ngog ahead of the lunchtime kick-off with QPR. Winger Eagles has become absent since facing former club Burnley for the opening day's the Sky Bet Championship season and is particularly over again rated 50-50 as a result of his ankle injury.

Striker Ngog missed the defeat to Nottingham Forest on account of illness yet he partook in light training on Thursday.

Wanderers are already without Stuart Holden, Mark Davies and Joe Riley (all knee) while midfielder Andre Moritz continues to be struggling to keep fit with boss Dougie Freedman suggesting he may need to wait until Tuesday's clash with Tranmere.

Junior Hoilett is placed to miss out for Rangers. Hmo's Blackburn winger opened up with a hamstring problem during the other half of last weekend's 1-0 convert Ipswich and can face a spell about the sidelines.

Midfielder Alejandro Faurlin (thigh) and striker Andy Johnson (groin) missed out against Town and remain doubts. Gary O'Neil could make his full debut following his recent switch from West Ham while rookie forward Tom Hitchcock might be within the bench again after marking his first QPR appearance on Saturday with all the late winner.
