Tranmere boss Ronnie Moore is facing a potential left-back crisis to the clash with Port Vale. Evan Horwood started the 2-0 defeat to Stoke on Wednesday but came off because of groin strain with his fantastic replacement, Danny Holmes, missed training on Thursday due to illness.


Moore is eager to try and get cover in should Holmes lose out and the man can also be keen to give centre-back Adam Dugdale's deal from Crewe as it is as a result of expire following your Vale game.
