Wigan needs to be boosted with the return of winger Shaun Maloney if they welcome Ipswich on Sunday. The Scotland international would not result in the trip to Belgium for the 0-0 draw with Zulte-Waregem as they was rested but he could be required to resume action against Mick McCarthy's men.
